We are not big on celebrating Valentine’s Day, never were. According to my husband, everyday should be Valentine’s Day. To that point, I do receive flowers throughout the year often, just because. However, as the kiddo grows, I am making a point to set aside some extra cuddle time for her on Valentine’s day and prepare some festive food. We had our “mommy and daughter” time last Valentine’s Day and planning to do the same this year. To help you plan a meal, whether for the little ones in your life or the big 😉 , here are few fabulous Valentine’s Day food inspiration.
As you can see, I don’t think heart-shaped food is necessary but to get a more subtle finish, a few red ingredients or food are terrific to celebrate Valentine’s Day. What are your Valentine’s Day plans?

What great treats to celebrate an important date… I am especially enchanted by the marbled cheesecake hearts and the creative way they were displayed. Wishing you a wonderful V-day, Lail!!!! xx

You and Ali are absolutely right—love and romance should be part of every day, not just some officially or commercially designated occasion. But any day that you made and served any of the foods you’ve shown here would be loving and lovely for certain. I’m especially taken with the last two; now I’ll have to try these great ideas myself!

I agree that everyday is a Valentine’s day but that doesn’t mean we girls shouldn’t get extra pampering on the day ;-). Hope u have a good one with the cutie pie and hubs, I am eyeing the gorgeous ravioli!
Lail Hossain says
I would never say “no” to extra pampering on any day, Jehanne. Wishing you a great one as well. Thank you for stopping by.
