I am humbled, I am honored. Allah(God) has been kind all along. I never thought I would be the cover photographer for one of the fastest growing magazine in the world for Muslim women. Let alone, the cover photographer for a Ramadan issue. For a magazine catered to Muslims, a Ramadan issue is an immensely important one.

You don’t ever want to see me tap dancing, but that’s what I was doing when SISTERS magazine reached out to me asking if I want to be the cover photographer of their Ramadan 2015 issue. Seriously, how can I ever say no to that? In the world of photography, I consider myself a novice. There are so much to learn, so many techniques I am not even aware of. So much to improve…
