Easy and Delicious Grilled Chicken Wings

Tender, juicy baked chicken wings coated in a mouthwatering homemade dry rub that will have your tastebuds singing! Pair it with a creamy gorgonzola dipping sauce and it’s a party hit!

Ingredients
  • 3 pounds halal chicken wings
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Canola oil spray
  • LEMON-PEPPER SAUCE
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon pepper seasoning
Instructions
  1. Separate wing flats, drumettes, and tips.
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Spray cooking oil lightly.
  3. Mix kosher salt, black pepper and onion powder in a small bowl.
  4. Sprinkle in the dry rub mixture on the wings and use your hands to massage it into all of the chicken wings, coating evenly.
  5. Add chicken wings to prepared baking sheet. Make sure the wings are not touching each other. Spray canola oil and cover baking sheet with aluminum foil, and let sit for about 15 minutes.
  6. Start your grill and preheat to 400F closing the lid
  7. Spray grill with canola oil. Place seasoned wings on the grill, make sure they are touching each other. This will allow moisture to stay in.
  8. Let the wings cook about 15 minutes, then flip and grill for another 15 minutes.
  9. Continue to flip the wings, until they are cooked and crispy. Remove the wings from the grill.
  10. In a bowl, large enough to hold all the wings, mix the lemon pepper seasoning and olive oil.
  11. Take the wings from grill and put them in the large bowl.
  12. Cover with aluminum foil and shake the bowl to mix the sauce properly. You may need to shake the bowl multiple times to mix.
  13. Serve and enjoy!
