Ingredients
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry jelly (or jam of your choice)
  • 3 tablespoons chunky peanut butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350F. Prep a baking tray (approx. 8x9inch) with spray cooking oil.
  2. Whisk together the milk, sugar, eggs and oil.
  3. Shift flour, baking powder, salt into the wet mixture.
  4. Whisk together until you have a thick batter.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared tray and spread out evenly.
  6. Heat jelly in microwave safe bowl in 10 second burst, stirring each time until the mixture has a semi-liquid consistency to easily swirl around. Repeat the process with the peanut butter. Set both aside.
  7. Take dollops of the jelly and spoon them in sporadically. Do the same with the peanut butter.
  8. Using a butter knife, swirl the dollops together slightly to create a marbled effect.
  9. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes. The traybake is ready as soon as the surface of the bake looks shiny and not wobbly anymore.
  10. Remove from the oven, cut into squares and serve warm.
Notes
You can make ahead the batter and leave it in the refrigerator overnight.
