Rose Lemonade - A Ramadan drink

Ingredients
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoon rose water
  • Rose petals for garnish
Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, bring sugar and 1 cup water to a boil. Simmer and stir until the sugar has fully dissolved. Remove from heat and cool completely.
  2. Juice lemons.
  3. Place lemon juice in pitcher with sugar syrup, 3 cups cold water, and rosewater. 
 Stir mixture.
  4. Garnish with rose petals and pour over ice to serve.
Notes
Adjust rosewater according to taste.
Adjust sugar according to tartness of lemon juice and taste.
