Rose Lemonade - A Ramadan drink

Serves: 4
- ½ cup sugar
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 4 tablespoon rose water
- Rose petals for garnish
- In a small saucepan, bring sugar and 1 cup water to a boil. Simmer and stir until the sugar has fully dissolved. Remove from heat and cool completely.
- Juice lemons.
- Place lemon juice in pitcher with sugar syrup, 3 cups cold water, and rosewater.
Stir mixture.
- Garnish with rose petals and pour over ice to serve.
Adjust rosewater according to taste.
Adjust sugar according to tartness of lemon juice and taste.
