Ingredients
4 tablespoon molasses
4 tablespoon sugar
2 cups water
4 teaspoon lemon juice
4 teaspoon tamarind paste
1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
ΒΌ teaspoon black salt
Instructions
In a small saucepan, bring sugar, molasses and 1 cup water to a boil. Simmer and stir until the sugar has fully dissolved. Remove from heat and cool completely.
Place lemon juice and tamarind paste in a pitcher with syrup and remaining water. Stir mixture.
Add cumin powder, black salt and wait 10 minutes for flavors to blend.
Pour over ice to serve.
