First weekend of Ramadan requires food inspiration that’s exotic. How about some easy Moroccan recipes? Sounds good?
I am a big fan of herbal tea and mint tea always sounds minty (read refreshing) to me 🙂
As you can tell, I like quick and easy recipes, especially during Ramadan, so I am not spending the entire day in the kitchen. I like to prepare a delicious meal but be in and out from the kitchen swift so I can focus on things that are more important like devoting time to God. I like this Moroccan Chicken recipe with green olives and lemon as I can put it on slow simmer for 25-30 minutes while I finish up other kitchen tasks.
I’ve never made semolina cookies, but I am intrigued to try these Ghoriba today. I need to bake a lot of cookies this month and I am thinking these will be great to take to the pediatrician’s office when we head there for my daughter’s 2 year appointment. Yes, R is turning 2 years old in less than 2 weeks.
The main Ramadan page has more inspiration as you know, so stop by and check them. Have a blessed day!
