The magnificent beauty of Autumn, nature’s Divine rhythm has an undeniable way of reminding us of the beauty of our Creator Himself. If we look at the seasons and compare them to seasons of our lives, fall teaches us about the beauty in waiting, letting go and trusting the progress because after winter, spring always sprung. Undeniably, Autumn is my favorite season and I like to remember the Divine beauty of Allah swt and make a few small tweaks to refresh my home for fall. I don’t go out and buy new seasonal decor every year for each season or occasion. I am all about investing in a few key pieces that I can reuse different ways throughout the year. When decorating for fall, I want to stay away from Halloween vibes yet embrace the season.
For an autumnal theme without the Halloween vibes, start with bringing natural elements from the great outdoors to celebrate the season. Wood accents, leaves, seasonal produce and flowers are great options to start with.
Here’s a few effortless ways to refresh your home for fall.

Embrace The Changing Season
Just like the season itself, the idea of Fall decor is to embrace what’s seasonal and of the moment, enjoy it, and then let it go.
The most memorable part of fall is the falling leaves. Adding leaves to your decor is the simplest way to create a modern fall style in your home. Opt for fall foliage such as eucalyptus, dry branches, golden wheat, etc. The perishable leaves add a hearty texture and earthy hue.

Go For The Glow
“Light upon Light; Allah guides to His Light whomever He decides.” – Quran 24.35
As the days become shorter and we bring in more lights in our home, I am always reminded of this spiritual ayah.
Light is a Divine metaphor. Light physically also adds a moment of drama. Sculptural table lights such as the Arch light double as functional art and elevate the look of a room. With the iconic arch shape, the drama of the Islamic geometric pattern, the brushed gold shade; a favorite hue this fall, we’re excited for you to bring home that new accent light simply because it makes you smile, expresses your unique identity and looks exceptionally good in any home. Above all it makes you happy, and adds a Divine reminder, that’s a decor win-win.
Candles are also a great way to add fall touches and smell into a space. When a candle holder glows and reminds you to be content ans grateful, you know your home decor has a purpose.

Enjoy The Bounty of Allah
The end of fall is the peak season for pomegranates and it is a fruit of the Quran, so why not incorporate the fruit into a simple, yet elegant, place setting? Apples are a great alternative to create a fall centerpiece if you don’t get hold of pomegranate. Throw in some green leaves, pine cones, and cinnamon and you have a beautiful centerpiece for the kitchen table or countertops.
