The Story Behind PaliCrafted Collection

WithASPin PaliCrafted Collection is born from a place of compassion, despair, resilience, hope, love and solidarity. Beginning of November 2023, during the times of despair when donating, protesting, calling your senators, congress person seemed to be not moving hearts, I was looking for a creative outlet to channel my tears, and pains. I had been curled up in bed for too long. Hurting, feeling helpless and was desperate to find ways to make tiniest of an impact.

Then, one day, I came across this quote.

“But what can I do,
I’m just one person?
– Said 7 billion people”

And I started asking myself, Lail, “What does Allah want you to do at this moment? How can you make an impact even if it’s for one person? These exact thoughts lead to the birth of our PaliCrafted collection.

I knew I wanted to do something for the Filistin cause. I also knew I didn’t want to just slap the Palestinian symbols on random low quality products. Alhamdulillah, I connected with a founder of a non-profit organization who was already working with low income women in the West Bank, and reached out to Amnah Ibrahim of Little Life of Mine, a Palestinian influencer. Amnah verified that she met some of the women in West Bank who does tatreez for the non-profit and they are all Palestinian. AlI I had left to do was pray istikhara and say Bismillah.
